the last time he was at my office that no one except me knew of his
deposit in my bank. So, Nineteen million Five Hundred Thousand United
States Dollars is still lying in my bank and no one will ever come forward
to claim it. What bothers me most is that
according to the laws of my country at the expiration 7 years the funds
will revert to the ownership of the Hong Kong Government if nobody applies
to claim the funds. Against this backdrop, my suggestion to you is that I
will like you as a foreigner to stand as the next of kin to
Lieutenant-Colonel Salim Wafiq so that you will be able to receive his
funds.

MODALITIES:

I want you to know that I have had everything planned out so that we shall
come out successful. I have an attorney that will prepare the necessary
document that will back you up as the next of kin to Lieutenant-Colonel

New Rise of Cobra "Crimson Hydra" Images

We first reported about some early Rise of Cobra prototypes a couple of months ago. Thanks to toyssir898, we now have some great new images of the Crimson Hydra packaging from the Rise of Cobra toy line. The jet appears to be a re-painted version of the 2003 Sky Sweeper Jet, but now includes an exclusive Aero-Viper figure. No official price or release date has been released for this vehicle.

Another auction from ws_toys / Black Sheep Toy Store has appeared. This one is for a prototype of the 2009 SDCC Exclusive, James McCullen IX figure. These exclusives were "officially" announced by Hasbro earlier this month, and are set to be released July 23rd – 26th at the 2009 San Diego ComiCon. They will also be available online at Hasbro Toy Shop sometime after the convention.

Thanks again to our good friend cmderinchief of JoeBattleLines we now have some great "In Hand" images of the Crimson Strike Tomax figure.

Images of this figure have been popping up now for the past few months, and it had the fans stumped. Finally some lite was shed on this mystery when the JoeCon Brochure was released, and in it was the announcement of the Crimson Strike Team. The set will feature Crimson Twins, Baroness , and twelve Cobra Vipers in "crimson" attire and in "25th style" molds.

(Nasdaq: ATVI) has assembled an all-star cast for the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video game, including the film's leads Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox, who will reprise their starring roles in the game, and fan favorites Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, the voices of OPTIMUS PRIME and MEGATRON from the original animated series. In the new game, developed under license from Hasbro, players are thrust into an adrenaline-pumping battle to defend Earth from a DECEPTICON attack that threatens mankind.

The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video game is based on the upcoming live-action feature film from DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures in association with Hasbro, which opens nationwide on June 24, 2009.* The game lets players take on the role of their favorite AUTOBOTS or DECEPTICONS, picking from the largest, most diverse range of playable Transformers - each with their own distinct abilities and weaponry. A french article from Maprincipaute has revealed that Iron Man 2 will be filming a large function room scene, a scene at the docks and a scene at the Casino. Iron Man 2 will be comprised of three major actions scenes, one of these shall include footage of Monaco. The translation via Google:

A large function room scene

A total of one hundred people are on the deck of the top secret shoot. The cameras will arise this morning between 6 am and 7 pm on the Boulevard Albert 1er. Then, following the Grand Prix circuit on Saturday 16 May, the shooting will continue Boulevard Louis II (between 6 am and 8 pm), dock of the United States between 8 am and noon then quai Albert-1er between 12h and 13h30. Sunday, teams invest Boulevard Albert 1st from 6am to 7am, the Avenue d'Ostende between 7am and 9am and Avenue of Spélugues between 9am and 11 hours. At these locations and schedules, periodic interruptions of traffic will be carried out.

But the peak of the shoot will be May 25, place du Casino, between 6 hours and 17 hours. A long sequence will be filmed with the participation of many extras. "There are three major action scenes in this movie, and one of them will be composed of footage in the Principality" says production. Only certainty, the film was released on screens in April 2010 and expects production even offer a sneak preview in the Principality!

Director Kenneth Branagh has spoken out about the Thor casting again, this time with MTV:

"We're down to the final stages of it [...] The reason one has to be properly diplomatic, is simply that some talented peopled have been patient, kind, creative and really committed to working with us in this process."

"My reluctance to say anything about it is simply out of respect for people who have been extremely respectful of us. [...] That said, I think we are extremely close and I hope to announce a decision sooner rather than later."

Blood For The Baron has received an exclusive "first look" at a new Scarlett figure thanks to our friend cmderinchief. It was rumored that this figure would be released in a comic pack 2-pack with an Arctic Cobra Commander in some sort of arctic outfit, but nothing official has been released regarding that. Another theory floating around is the possibility of a convention release as an Action Force Quarrel homage like the 1992 Joe Con Undercover Scarlett. As of right now this is all just speculation, and the identity of this figure still remains a mystery.

Here's a toy we've been waiting for for some time, the seven (Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and Mixmaster) legends class Constructicons (each with an alt mode and robot mode) combine to form Devastator. This is our first look at the seventh Constructicon 'Overload', part of Devastator's backbone. We also see a scorpion like robot mode for the crane, Devastator's left arm.

Who Is This Mystery Man?

Images of this "mystery" figure have been hitting the surface more and more lately, but who could he be? Both TaoBao seller xingzhangijoe and eBay seller jiandan9966 (same person?) have him up for grabs right now, but it was eBay seller unitedwell923 who introduced this figure to us a few weeks back with a great "Hi-Res" image. It looks to be the basic Accelerator Suit that we have seen on the Ripcord figure, but it has a repainted 25th Anniversary Serpentor head on it? Could this just be a generic "grunt" character or something new?

The anticipation is certainly building for the great sets with every new image that appears. Though we have no "official" dates of release for these, it's a good possibility we may see some pre-orders for these pretty soon with them turning up overseas now.

More Rise of Cobra Vehicle Prototypes

We first reported about some early Rise of Cobra prototypes a couple of months ago. Now it looks like some more Rise of Cobra vehicle prototypes have surfaced thanks to toyssir898. The retooled Firebat w/ Airborne repaint and repainted Valor vs. Venom Sting Raider w/ Lampreys repaint now appear to be updated a bit since we first saw them a while back. Also in this update is now a repainted SpyTroops and Valor vs. Venom Sky Sweeper Jet w/ an unknown figure. Not much else is still known about these vehicles at the time.

The "past and present" versions of the Destro lineage are one of two of Hasbro's Exclusives for this years San Diego Comic Con. With this set you get James McCullen (Destro) IX and the current James McCullen (Destro) XXIV from the Rise of Cobra movie. This set will be available at the convention (July 23rd – 26th) then online at Hasbro Toy Shop on Monday, July 27th following the convention.

Our first extensive look at the Prince of Persia movie has come via ABC, in a feature that interviews PoP producer Jerry Bruckheimer. The footage, which bears the text 'this film is not yet rated', could be the snippets of an unfinished trailer; it appears to be edited in a fashion that matches a trailer. We get to see Jake Gyllenhaal training to become the Prince, Ben Kingsley, numerous shots of Jake battling topless, the expansive Moroccan set and Gemma Arterton as Tamina.
